Ford has provided formal confirmation that production of the Fiesta will come to an end in June of 2023, after 20 million have been made.

One of the nameplates that have been a part of the corporation for the longest amount of time will be phased out in favour of an all-electric variant of the Puma, which will be manufactured in Craiova, Romania.
Over the course of 47 years and nine generations, the Fiesta has been offered to customers. The manufacture is presently being carried out in Cologne, and according to Ford, the sole variant of the hatchback with five doors will continue to be produced on the production line till the summer of the following year.
